Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. She was born 13 December 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a popular singer-songwriter and pop artist for more than 20 years. The stories she tells of her teenage love and heartbreaks have earned her wide acclaim during the 21st Century. Swift had a passion for music from an early stage of her life. Swift swiftly rose through the ranks, beginning by playing roles in the theater for children and then performing in front of a large crowd. At the age of 11, she sang The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and that same year she took up guitar and began to write songs. Swift sought inspiration from singers from the country genre, such as Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks and the Chicks in order to write original music in which she expressed the feeling of alienation she felt at the age 13. When she was 13 Swift's parents sold their farm in Pennsylvania in order to relocate in Hendersonville Tennessee so she could spend more time interacting with country artists in nearby Nashville.
